An Izakaya is a Japanese tavern, a laid back drinking house with a menu of small dishes snacks. Conceptually, the design intends to illustrate an intimate experience through a transitional space. At first customer will be greeted with bulky yet rough corridor, which aligns with the rough feel of a Japanese drinking culture. Transitioning from the corridor, the inside space presents a different kind of ambience; a more charming yet warm dining experience.
